Water Pump, Jubilee Crescent, Newton Of Falkland

This 19th-century group consists of two water pumps and two Kennedy wells, each approximately 2 feet high.

On the west side of Main Street, at the road junction, there is a Kennedy well located by a low garden wall. It features a base with a projecting cast-iron bottle support, a fluted cast-iron column, and a lionhead mask water spout positioned below a roll-moulded cornice. The well is topped with a fluted domed cap that has an acorn finial.

On the east side of Main Street, another Kennedy well is found in a cottage garden, designed similarly to the one on the west side.

At the north end of Jubilee Crescent, there is a well set against a wall with a partial recess. This well has a fluted cast-iron column with a plain spout and a fluted cap, accompanied by a railed drainage grid or stand in the foreground.

At the south end of Jubilee Crescent, a well is situated on a green area by the roadside. It features a stone shaft with a pitched cap and an inset cast-iron pump.
