29 Kinnessburn Road, St Andrews

29 Kinnessburn Road is a well-proportioned, symmetrical house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is two stories high and has three bays. The front elevation facing the street is constructed from squared and snecked sandstone rubble, while the other sides are harled, featuring ashlar margins.

The principal elevation includes a central two-leaf boarded timber door. The first-floor windows are positioned near the eaves. The remaining harled elevations have irregularly placed windows, also with painted ashlar margins. At the rear, there is a single flat-roofed projection with an entrance located at the re-entrant angle.

The house predominantly features 12-pane timber sash and case windows with horns. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there are ashlar gable stacks with cans, as well as ashlar-coped skews. The property also includes cast-iron rainwater goods.
