Description

The Parish Church Manse, located off Main Street in Kingsbarns, was built in 1835, possibly to a design by William Lees. It is a two-storey and attic building with a three-window front constructed of ashlar. The front features a Roman Doric columned doorpiece with a fanlight, and a main cornice which is crowstepped. The roof is slated. A rear wing is also present, along with extensive walled gardens. The manse was built by Hugh Birrell. Records suggest Lees also designed offices and the garden wall around the same time.
