Office building, former Ingleside Works

This is a later 19th century single-storey, three-bay former steel foundry building, accompanied by a two-storey, four-bay office building to the right. These structures are connected by a recessed wall featuring a central archway on the south elevation. Both buildings exhibit a classical style with polychrome brickwork, incorporating red brick and cream brick dressings.

The foundry and office buildings have rounded corner angles and corbelled window cills. The doorways are adorned with moulded brick surrounds, while the windows are round-arched, featuring a central keystone and rounded brick margins. The central cart arch in the linking wall is flanked by projecting pilasters and topped with a modillion cornice.

On the west elevation of the former foundry, there is an arcade of six round-arched openings, separated by polychrome brick columns. Each archway includes impost blocks and a diamond-faced keystone. Both the foundry and office building have later corrugated-iron roof coverings, and most openings have been filled with breeze block as of 2016.

The interior of the former office wing has not been inspected since 2016, but a timber dog-leg staircase and a boarded timber dado were noted during a visit in 1998.
