Description
Balgone South House is a mid 18th century, two-storey pavilion with a rectangular plan. The building features random rubble construction with red harling and piended ashlar margins.
On the north elevation, there are three bays, with the doorway moved from the center to the outer right bay. The first-floor lights are located under the eaves, and there are additional enlarged windows.
The east and west elevations each have two bays, with openings grouped centrally.
The south elevation has irregular openings, including the original doorway located in the outer right position.
The sash and case windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern, with some featuring 4-pane and plate glass, while the casement windows have modern glazing. The roof is piended slate with sweeping eaves and a central stack.
