Description

The Fergusson Monument, located in the West End of Haddington, was sculpted by Robert Forrest in 1843. It features a fluted Doric column topped with a statue, and the shaft is flanked by four mourning figures. This monument was erected in honor of Robert Ferguson of Raith, who served as a Member of Parliament and as Lord Lieutenant of Fife.
