Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey row of 5 cottages,

with attic storey breaking eaves. Squared and snecked

rubble. Droved ashlar openings with chamfered arrises.

S ELEVATION: 10-bay. Single doorway. To outer left,

with paired doorways to 4th and 5th, and 8th and 9th

bays from left. Main roof sweeping down for porches, on

timber columns with decorative brackets and plain

balustrades. Boarded doors with decorative fittings.

Hoodmoulded bipartite windows to intervening bays. 5

gabled wallhead bipartite dormers with decorative barge

boarding and finials.

REAR ALTERATIONS: plate glass glazing to sash windows to

front 2 ridge and one end coped stacks. Slated roof with

overhanging eaves and timber brackets.
