Description

The Old Bridge in Dunglass is a 17th-century structure that was raised and improved in the 19th century. It features a single-span, barrel arch design, spanning approximately 34 feet over Dunglass dene near the mill. The bridge is constructed of random rubble with ashlar voussoirs and is raised in squared and coursed rubble. It has been strengthened with wrought-iron ties. The bridge is also listed in Cockburnspath Parish, Scottish Borders.
