Description
34 Court Street in Haddington is an 18th century, two-storey house with a rendered exterior and a slated roof. The front features a three-window arrangement and a Gibbsian door surround, with quoins and a main cornice that includes a blocking course. There have been recent alterations to the windows on the ground floor, which is used as a shop. At the rear, there is another two-storey building that is harled and whitewashed, with some areas having chamfered margins. This rear building has a forestair on the west side and a single-storey workshop attached to the north gable. The roof of the workshop is made of modern corrugated asbestos. The property was formerly accessed from a close at 36 Court Street.
