Description
6 Stirling Avenue in Westerton, Bearsden, is a single-storey building with attic windows that break through the eaves. Designed by J A W Grant with Raymond Unwin as a consultant, it was built between 1913 and 1915. The structure features a symmetrical two-house block with a harled exterior and a complex broad-eaved slated roof. There are two tripartite windows at the ground level, which have small-paned upper sashes, and porches on either side. A stack is located below the apex of the roof, and steps lead up from the street to the entrance.
