Description

12 Stirling Avenue in Westerton, Bearsden, is a single-storey building with attic windows that break through the eaves. Designed by J A W Grant with consultant Raymond Unwin, it was built between 1913 and 1915. The structure is symmetrical and consists of two houses, featuring harled walls and two bays with tripartite windows throughout. The roof is complex, and there are porches on the flanks, with the left porch (for house number 12) being glazed. A stack is positioned below the apex of the roof, and there is a stepped boundary wall leading to the street.
