Courier Offices (Old), 28 North Lindsay Street, Dundee

26-32 North Lindsay Street is a later 19th-century, four-storey tenement building featuring ten bays and shops on the ground floor. The front is made of pinkish sandstone ashlar, while the sides and rear are constructed from rubble, topped with a slate roof. The ground floor has a cornice, and there is a main cornice at the second floor along with an eaves course. The building has rusticated angles and dividing pilasters at the ground floor.

The windows are single and bipartite, framed with architraves and fitted with 2-pane timber sash and case glazing. They are arranged in two blocks of three single windows flanked by bipartite windows, with consoled and corniced detailing on the first floor and corbelled cills on the second floor. The building features ashlar-coped skews, corniced centre and end ridge stacks, and corniced and shouldered wallhead stacks at the front, which have been cut down at Nos 34 and 36.

On the front elevation, there are two close doors and two altered shopfronts for Nos 26-32 on the left. To the right, there is a seven-bay glazed arcade with a central door and round-headed moulded arches for Nos 34-36, with symmetrically placed windows on the upper floors and small rooflights. The interior has not been seen.
