77 St Vincent Street, Dundee

75 St Vincent Street in Dundee is a building attributed to James MacLaren, constructed around 1865. It is a two-storey and attic, L-plan corner block that accommodates houses and flats. The exterior features snecked rubble masonry with painted dressings and a slate roof. The doors and windows are keystoned and segmental-arched, with a continuous lintel course, and the building primarily has 4-pane sash and case windows.

On the south elevation, there are five bays. The central window is flanked by doors with fanlights, and there are three windows on the first floor. The gables on the left and right are advanced and feature raised long and short quoins, two-storey canted windows with moulded parapets, and small attic windows. The gables are adorned with skewputts, kneelers, rounded apex details, and ball finials, although the ball finial on the left is missing. There are also two symmetrical canted dormers.

The east elevation consists of twelve bays. It has three windows at the outer left, which are modern top-louvered and blocked at the ground floor center. Following this, there are alternate doors and windows on the ground floor, with nine symmetrical windows on the first floor. This elevation also features five canted dormers and two later box dormers with piended roofs.
