Description
This mid 19th century building is a two-storey corner house located at 1-3 High Street in Annan. It features three bays facing Port Street and includes a shop at ground level. The main entrance is centrally located on the north gable, showcasing a panelled door topped with a decorative fanlight and a small forestair with an iron handrail. The building has a curved northeast corner and the north gable is adorned with three first-floor windows. These are sash windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The end stacks have been rebuilt in brick. Additionally, there is a basement at the rear (west) that includes two inner doors.
