Description
4 and 6 Carlyle's Place in Annan are earlier to mid-19th century houses built in three stages. They are two-storey buildings with basements and feature three-bay facades with a central door. Two of the houses face east, while one (No 2) is located on the north return elevation. The exterior is made of stugged red ashlar with painted margins, and includes band courses. The panelled doors have fanlights above them, and the sash windows are designed with a 12-pane glazing pattern. There is an eaves and lintel band, rebuilt axial stacks, and a slate roof. A pend is situated between Nos 4 and 6.
