Description
64-64A High Street in Kirkcudbright are early 19th-century terraced houses. They are two stories high with an attic and have three bays. The exterior features painted render with margins. There is a door located in the right bay, with two windows to the left under a lintel course. The outer first-floor bays contain two plate glass sash windows, while the central bay has a blind window. A later wallhead, piended, canted dormer is present. The roof is made of slate. At the rear, there is a two-bay wing that faces a close, which is connected to a single-storey and attic, three-bay house. The close itself is constructed from rubble and painted, also featuring slate roofs.
