3 Boat Green is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay end terraced cottage. It features harled walling with rendered margins. The central doorway has a modern door, and the windows are single light sash and case with plate glass glazing. The cottage has slate roofs, sandstone skews, coped end stacks, and thackstanes.
