Description

The Yett is a probable 1854 farmhouse, a two-story, three-bay building linked to the southern end of a steading range. It is constructed of painted rubble with contrasting slab margins. The front features a corniced, plain central doorway, now with a modern door, and mostly sash windows with four-pane glazing, the first floor windows being square. Coped end stacks rise from the roof, which is covered with graded slates. A rear brick outshot extends from the building. The building is comparable to Greenback, which is dated 1854. The steading is not included in the listing.
