Description

Palmersgill Bridge is a road bridge built in 1799 by Parks Masons. It features a single segmental arch over the Kirtle Water. The bridge is constructed from squared rubble with ashlar recessed arch rings and coping on the parapet. The abutments are slightly battered, and the parapets are ramped, splayed at the approaches, and swept down at the south end, connecting to the approach walls at the north.
