19 The Square, Port William

19 The Square in Port William is a house from the later 19th century, featuring two storeys and an attic, with three bays and two shops on the ground floor. It is paired with Nos 11 and 13 The Square. The building is constructed of rubble, which is painted on the east elevation, and has painted margins and a quoin strip on the same side.

On the north elevation facing The Square, there is a boarded door with a deep plate glass fanlight at the center. The outer bays contain three shop fronts, each with a central door flanked by windows. The first floor has regular fenestration, and there are gabled dormer windows above the outer bays.

The east elevation is gabled and blank. The west elevation is attached to No 15 The Square and features plate glass glazing in sash and case windows, as well as plate glass display windows. The window at the center of the first floor has modern glazing. The building has red sandstone coped skews that are mutual with the west side, and the stacks are partly painted rubble, with a gablehead to the east that is also mutual with the west. The roof is covered with purple slates.
