Kirkcolm Manse, Ervie

Kirkcolm Manse, built in 1854, is a two-storey, three-bay manse. The west elevation features painted rubble, while the other elevations are harled, with painted raised margins on the west side.

On the west elevation, there is a deep-set door with a letter-box fanlight at the center and regular window arrangement. The south elevation has a window to the right at ground floor. The east elevation is three-bay, with a stair window at the center and a very small window slightly to the right at ground floor. There are windows on both floors in the bay to the right, and a window at the first floor in the bay to the left, located above a gabled single-storey addition.

The north elevation includes a gabled single-storey outbuilding attached to the right. The windows are replacement timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing. Sandstone skews and harled gablehead stacks are present on the north and south sides, and the roof is covered with small purple slates.

The property is enclosed by rubble boundary walls, featuring two pairs of harled circular conical-capped gatepiers to the south.
