Description

27 Castle Street is an early 19th-century terraced house. It stands two storeys high over a basement and features two bays. The exterior is finished in harled rubble with painted margins. There is one recessed door on the right side, and the first floor has two 4-pane sash windows. A brick stack is present, and the roof is covered with slate. In a revision from 1991, it was noted that the pilastered shop front has been removed.
