Description

2 Port Road in Palnackie is a pair of two-storey houses built in the early 19th century, which are part of a terrace that includes the even-numbered houses from 6 to 16 Port Street. The houses are constructed of painted rubble and feature smooth raised architraves and quoins. Each house has a two-bay elevation with a door and a window on the ground floor, and four windows on the first floor. The windows are sash style with four-pane glazing. The flank side facing Glen Road is similarly detailed. The roofs are slate with a piended design, and there are axial stacks along with a tall single-shouldered wall head stack on the flank side.
