Description
10 Port Road in Palnackie is a terrace of five two-storey cottages built in the earlier 19th century. Cottages numbered 10 and 12 are harled, while the others are made of painted rubble with smooth raised margins. Each cottage has two bays and features single-light sash windows, although cottages 6 and 8 have wider windows. The glazing is mainly four-pane or plate glass, with modern glazing found in cottages 8 and 12. The roofs are covered with slate, and there are red sandstone corniced axial stacks topped with thackstanes.
