Description
Hillview, located at 10 Beechgrove in Moffat, is a pair of cottages from the mid-19th century, with later additions to No. 10. The building is single-storey and has an attic, with No. 9 featuring 2 bays and No. 10 having 3 bays. Constructed from whinstone, the cottages have painted ashlar margins. No. 9 includes a door, a window, and a gablet dormer. In contrast, No. 10 has a corniced door, one window to the right, and a later gabled bay to the left, which features a canted ground floor window and a bipartite window above. The roof is slated.
