Description

The Dr David Livingstone Statue, located in East Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, was created by Amelia R Hill in 1875. This bronze statue depicts Dr Livingstone, who is bare-headed and booted, holding a Bible and a stick. He is also shown with a lion skin and head at his feet, all set on a stone plinth.
