33 Queen's Crescent, Edinburgh

32 Queen's Crescent in Edinburgh is a pair of classical houses built around 1880. The buildings are two stories high and have four symmetrical bays. They are constructed from cream sandstone polished ashlar, with rubble on the sides and rear. The design features a base course, channelled quoins, an eaves course, and a cornice.

On the north entrance elevation, the central bays have bipartite windows on the ground floor, adorned with a cornice, an arcaded eaves course, and incised floral details on the advanced architraves. Above, there are single windows on the first floor, also with lugged and shouldered advanced architraves featuring incised floral designs. The outer bays have single advanced basket-arched windows on the ground floor and three-light canted windows on the first floor, topped with polygonal roofs and cast iron finials. Doorways lead to recessed porches on either side of the houses, each with panelled doors.

The windows are plate glass timber sash and case. The roof is grey slate with a piended design, including modern skylights, while the porches have pitched roofs with fish scale slating. The buildings feature corniced wallhead and ridge stacks with octagonal moulded cans.

The boundary walls consist of a low coped wall along the street. The interior was not seen in 1996.
