Description

The Cross Keys Tavern, located at 41 Lanark Road in Slateford, Edinburgh, is a mid-19th century building. It is two stories high and features three windows. The exterior is made of whitewashed rubble with painted margins. The entrance has a heavy plain architraved doorpiece topped with a cornice, and there are modern shutters on the windows. The roof is slated. At the back, there is a two-storey outbuilding that has a railed forestair, although its windows are blocked. This outbuilding is also whitewashed and has a slated roof.
