124 Willowbrae Road in Edinburgh is a pair of semi-detached villas designed by John McIntyre in 1907. These two-storey buildings feature a symmetrical four-bay layout, with distinctive finialled, piend-roofed canted windows in the outer bays. The roofs slope down to form a porch canopy that is supported by a cast-iron column at the center. The exterior is made of squared and snecked stugged sandstone, accented with red sandstone ashlar dressings. A stringcourse runs along the canted bays, and the broad bracketed eaves add to the architectural detail. The corners of the buildings are marked by long and short quoins.

The central bays have timber panelled doors topped with three-pane glazed fanlights set in tabbed surrounds. The canted bays feature timber sash and case windows, with six-pane upper sashes and plate glass lower sashes. The dormers have six-pane casements. The piended roofs are covered with graded grey slates, and the side elevations have tall tapered corniced stacks that break the eaves, topped with tall cylindrical cans.
