Description

The entrance gatepiers and wrought iron quadrant railings, formerly part of Morningside Cemetery, were built in 1878. The outer gatepiers are ornate, featuring moulded octagonal bases, cylindrical shafts decorated with carved foliage, and topped with urn finials. The railings display scrolling and floral motifs, while the inner piers are square in plan and support plain gates.
