Description
The Little House, located at 16 Inverleith Terrace in Edinburgh, is a single-storey villa with a basement and attic, designed by Francis W. Deas in 1912. This building is influenced by the Lorimerian Renaissance style and is attached to the west gable of a late Georgian terrace at Nos. 15. The villa has a symmetrical front with an arched doorpiece, which is flanked by two-storey, one-window features that are adorned with scrolled pediments. It features two gables and a square central chimney, which complement the nearby Christian Scientist Church. The ground floor has harled oriel bays, and the roof is well-crafted with good coursers and slated material.
