Description

Circa 1863. 2-storey, 3-bay terraced houses with crowstepped corbelled dormers. Stugged squared and snecked sandstone ashlar. Lintels to openings at ground. Coped skews with skewputts to ends of advanced Nos 1-2 and 6-7.

N (FRONT) ELEVATION: symmetrical; panelled timber door with fanlight to centre at ground; geometrical hoodmould incorporating rectangular plaque above; windows to flanking bays, surmounted by corbel course, raised at lintel, to advanced window bays to 1st floor.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate double-pitch roof; mixture of corniced and coped squared and snecked sandstone ashlar stacks and coped, rendered stacks with cylindrical and octagonal cans, some pierced; cast-iron rainwater goods.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped stugged squared and snecked sandstone ashlar boundary walls to street, raised at ends. High coped boundary walls to courts at back.
