Description
Adam Bothwell's House is a narrow, four-storey, six-bay building dating from around 1630, located at 3 Advocate's Close on the High Street in Edinburgh. The building features rubble construction, which was previously harled. It has windows on each side of the canted northern gable, with the fourth-floor windows breaking the eaves and adorned with carved segmental pediments that include thistle finials. The windows are fitted with 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case style, and the roof is covered with grey slates.
