Description

The bridge over Gogar Burn at Castle Gogar, located on Glasgow Road in Edinburgh, dates back to 1672. It is a single-span structure made of rubble, featuring later ashlar saddleback coping on the rubble parapet. The bridge has a hog's back profile and carries an avenue leading to Castle Gogar over the burn.
