Description

20 Restalrig Drive in Edinburgh is a four-storey, 15-bay former textile factory built in 1910 by JR and EE Pearson, now converted into flats. The building is constructed of red brick and features a square-plan tower with a pyramidal roof that is corbelled out at the southeast corner. It has segmental-arched windows with projecting concrete sills, and a flat-arched pend to the left. The tower includes circular windows on three sides. The front elevation facing Restalrig Drive is made of red facing brick, while the sides and rear are constructed from common brick. The building has replacement glazing, modern roof tiles with Velux windows on the M-roof, and a swept slate roof on the tower.
