9, 10 Trinity Crescent, Edinburgh

13 Trinity Crescent is a mid-19th century terrace of six two-bay houses, with three bays at No 9, and a gap site at No 14. The buildings are constructed from droved sandstone ashlar, although the side elevation of No 13 is cement rendered and No 15 features rubble on its side elevation. There is a dividing band between the basement and ground floors, as well as between the ground and first floors, topped with an eaves cornice.

The north elevation facing Trinity Crescent is regularly fenestrated, featuring two-light windows with stone mullions in the left bays of Nos 10 and 13. No 15 has decorative cast-iron balconies at the first-floor windows. The right bays of Nos 9 and 10 have timber panelled doors with plate glass fanlights, framed by pilasters and corniced surrounds that mirror each other.

No 15 has 12-pane glazing in its timber sash and case windows, while the other houses predominantly have plate glass in their timber sash and case windows. The roofs are covered with graded grey slates, and there are stone skews and coped ashlar stacks, some with polygonal ends and circular cans on the ridges of the M roof.

The properties also feature spear-headed railings and gates that provide access to the basement areas.
