Description
Craigroyston House, located on West Shore Road in Edinburgh, dates from around 1800 and is designed in a Georgian castellated style. The original structure is a two-storey building with a basement and a rectangular plan, featuring twin dummy towers on both the entrance and garden fronts, along with a similar single windowless feature on one of the two-window flanks. The entrance front has five windows and a central gothick porch, while the garden front includes a central staircase window and later bay windows. Significant internal alterations were made in 1907-1908 by Sir Robert Lorimer for MLP Jardine.
