Description

37 George IV Bridge in Edinburgh is a mid-19th century three-storey tenement building that features shops on the ground floor. The exterior is made of polished ashlar with raised dressings, cill courses, and cill blocks, topped with a deep cornice. The building rises to five storeys down to Merchant Street level.

The windows are fitted with 8-pane glazing in timber sash and case style, complete with horns. The roof is slate, with end stacks, coped skews, and skewputs. Clay cans and cast-iron rainwater goods are also present.
