Description

Ardmore Tower is a D-plan tower made of red sandstone rubble, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is built against the base of a steep cliff. The tower features a rectangular entrance opening at ground level on the southwest side, with another rectangular opening located on the upper level on the east side. There are also several small, narrow slit openings. The roof of the tower is incomplete, and ivy partially covers the structure.

The interior, which was observed in 2016, has a circular plan and contains some remnants of former timber flooring that was added in the 1980s.
