Description

Craighdhu House in Newtown, Inveraray, is a Victorian building dating from 1851. It is constructed of rubble with a gabled slate roof and features projecting eaves. The house has dressed band courses and an eaves course. A notable feature is a panel with a relief bust of Dr. Guthrie, created by William Brodie, RSA in 1874. There is a modern porch and a 1-storey gabled extension to the north.
