Description
Balinakill Steading, located on the Balinakill Estate in Clachan, is a building from the later 19th century designed in a Scottish style. It features three wings arranged around a central yard and is one storey high with a loft. The exterior is harled, with gabled slate roofs that are piended at the rear, and piended dormers facing the yard. The building has crow-step gables and includes a mock gate-house with a pend that has a plaster barrel vault. The windows are round-headed and there are also slit windows. In the yard, there is a piended one-storey byre.
