Description
The Gallery on Main Street in Tobermory, Mull, was built in 1878 and is designed in the Gothic Revival style, specifically Early English. The building has an oblong shape and features a small octagonal tower at the southeast corner topped with a pyramidal slate roof. At the northeast corner, there is a steeple that rises from a square tower in two stages, culminating in an octagonal stone spire. The design includes decorative pinnacles and gargoyles. At the east end, there is a porch with a pointed-arch doorway, along with lancet windows and a rose window in the east gable. The exterior is finished with coursed stone and a slate roof.
