Roselea, Kingarth

Brick Cottage in Kingarth is a later 19th century, symmetrical single-storey, three-bay cottage featuring a gabled entrance. It has single bay additions that are recessed to the outer left and right. The cottage is constructed of red brick with polychrome detailing, cream brick quoins, and long and short surrounds to slight segmental-arched openings. It has a raised eaves course, timber bargeboards, and projecting cills. At the rear, there is a single-storey, four-bay outbuilding.

The entrance elevation features a gabled porch that is advanced at the centre, with a single opening beneath the apex and boarded timber doors recessed within; the left door leads to Brick Cottage and the right door leads to Roselea. There are bipartite windows at ground level in the bays flanking the entrance, with blind bays to the outer left and right. The windows have 6-pane timber sash and case glazing. The roof is covered with graded grey slate and has replacement rainwater goods. There are corniced polychrome apex stacks to the east and west, with various circular cans.

The interiors were not seen in 1996. The outbuilding has single doorways in the outer left and right bays, with a single window offset to the right of centre and a lean-to addition offset to the left. It features a grey slate piended roof, a red brick ridge stack, but the cans are missing.
