Description
Ardpatrick House is a mid-18th century Georgian building with 19th century wings designed in a Scottish style. The main block features two storeys and an attic, with five windows across its facade. It is constructed from rubble and harled at the front, topped with gabled slate roofs that include two later gabled dormers and scrolled skew-puts.
The house has ashlar chimneys and quoins, along with a gabled porch that features ball finials and round-headed windows. The wings are one storey with an attic, also harled, and include crowsteps and an ashlar chimney. There is a bay window and a side porch that mirrors the style of the main porch. The garden front has a slightly projecting central pavilion with a balcony on the first floor, which is accessible by steps. The building has been painted recently.
