Description
Carse House, built in 1828, is a Georgian-style building featuring two storeys, an attic, and a basement. It is constructed of snecked rubble and has a gabled slate roof with four later dormers. The building has a slightly projecting central pavilion with the date '1828' displayed at the top. The classical doorway is adorned with Ionic half-columns and an entablature, and it is accessed by steps. Inside, there are good fireplaces and panelled shutters.
