Description
The Old Smithy in Inveraray is a traditional building from the later 18th century, featuring one and a half storeys. The exterior is harled, and it has a gabled shape with a later slate roof that reveals exposed timbers. There are two gabled dormers on the roof. The ground floor was used as a smithy, which has three low openings. The smith's house is located in the attic and is accessed by an outside stair at one end of the building.
