Description

Skerryvore Lighthouse, built between 1838 and 1844 by Alan Stevenson, is constructed from ashlar stone. It features a balustraded walkway around the lantern and has a revolving light. The lenses were made by M. Francois in Paris, and the machinery was supplied by John Milne in Edinburgh.
