Description

The County Assessor's Office, located at 50 East High Street in Forfar, is a building reconstructed around 1772 and again in 1882. It is a two-storey structure with four windows, finished in stucco with margins. The entrance features a segmentally arched tripartite doorpiece that includes an original fanlight. The site also contains a Victorian stable outbuilding, which was built on the location of the old Grammar School.
