Description

St John's Methodist Church in Arbroath is a small octagonal building, originally designed in a classical style, constructed from rubble and slate. It was opened by John Wesley in 1772. The church was remodeled in 1882, which included the addition of a Gothic porch and a gallery. In 1896, a hall was added, featuring a gable with a 2-light Gothic window facing the street. An organ chamber was added as an outshot to the rear in 1946.
