Description

Gannochy Pumping Station, built in the 1870s, features a circular plan and is surrounded by a low dwarf wall made of slaistered red sandstone rubble. The building has a large conical half-slated roof topped with a lead ball finial. On the north side, there is a projecting doorway that has slated cheeks, a piended roof, and a timber-boarded door. The roof is covered with graded slates and includes several modern plastic ventilator units.
